We think often too late how we can restore our teeth to former glory. Our teeth need to stay healthy and strong not only through good oral hygiene but also thru a healthy lifestyle. We use uur teeth to chew our food mostly. Our teeth are, unfortunately so, not indestructible and they need constant care and regular maintenance.

We are what we eat:

We eat and drink, and our body makes all cells from the material it gets so what we eat and drink has a strong influence on the health of our body and therefore on our teeth. Sweets and sugary drinks do strongly contribute to tooth decay if those teeth don't get their proper care. Eating right:

There is a perception that fluorides have completely resolved the problem of caries, but that's far from the truth. We're looking at the way the body reconstructs itself . There is a certain lack of research and funding in nutrition and oral connections has made it difficult to move forward. Preventive dental care and nutritional counseling need are more important components of your teeth and body's' health.

Choosing the right food and having a healthy diet may sound easy, however, fruits, milk, cereals, bread and some vegetables contain sugars and/or starches. Carbonated sodas, sweet fruit drinks, and sugary snack foods should be limited, the more whol grain foods and fresh vegetables you eat the better aka healthier your teeth will become. Just brush your teeth twice a day and floss daily.
